Thanks to Tom, Pete, Keith, Jon, Tim, Tony, Mike we made quick work of the sanding job, I estimate that we put in ~10 man-hours and this was the way to go for sure. I apologize that the beer and food never showed up, now idea what happened with that.
Next step is 2 more coats of silver (aluminum powder in a liquid base) and then the white top coat.
