Project update

The fuselage fabric is all shrunk as of this afternoon and tomorrow I will be applying the first coat of goop known as "pink" and is brushed on.

If interested in helping this weekend please let me know, there's more fabric work to be done and easy to learn how.

Project update 5/4/08

Team,

Broken and split tubes in the cockpit have been repaired (thanks Andy G. for the use of his torches).

Rick has a few misc. pieces that he's prepping for paint at his house.

Mike is going to finish cleaning the controls (Monday night?) Mike make note that the combo to the lock is 36 - 38 - 8 and that the rear elevator pulley is all set.

New access hole in nose-bowl will be repaired by me however there is a great deal of work to be done on the nose-bowl so if there's someone with basic bodywork talents please lmk.

I hope to paint this coming Thursday night if it warms up.

Andy

2-33 Project report

We've had good progress this week, here's what went down.

-Donn vacuumed out the grit and removed the tent on Tuesday.

-Jon washed down the all parts to be painted with Paint Prep.

-I borrowed a HVLP paint sprayer system.

-I ordered all the paint and other supplies to recover with and they should be here today.

Tonight I will start to ready the shop for painting which will happen in the next few days as long as the temps are within limits.

No help required till further notice.

Thanks!

Andy
