Project report
Team,
Pete finished the sandblasting on the fuselage yesterday and I will be inspecting it today. Next steps will most likely be:
-Strip and prep the tail feathers (this may involve some sandblasting).
-Re-rig the tent so it's sell supporting as right now it depends on the fuselage
-Thoroughly clean all parts that will be painted (vac and wash with alcohol)

Sandblasting update (4)
Team,
Amish and Pete worked a good part of Saturday on sandblasting with the black, gravity fed unit and other than needing an occasional shake it works pretty well.
I would like to know who plans to work next as we need more Black Beauty grit from Kibby Equipment in WRJ and tentatively Paul will pick this up on Tuesday but may or may not be able to get it to the hangar right away so please let me know your schedule.
I'd guess we're about 2/3 of the way done so please volunteer to get this part of the job finished. Experiance has proved that 2 guys works best on this with one keeping the hopper full while the other does the blasting, and then you switch off. That said I did do my entire fuselage by my self so working alone is doable.
Thanks,
Andy

Another sandblasting update
Team:
The tent has been modified to exhaust out the dust (enter from the front of the fuselage) but the sandblaster keeps getting clogged.
My next trip over will be with my sandblaster and I'll confirm that works before inviting others to try it.
